Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Learning the fundamentals of music with our childhood music teacher, Mrs. Sauter, was one of the earliest (and most influential) experiences and memories for us. Of course, we couldn't have known it at the time... We just wanted to make some noise!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cream, Wheels of Fire Santana, Santana The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Are You Experienced Deluxe Version Hendrix inspired us to pick up the guitar, Santana showed us how Latin, percussive elements could meld with rock'n' roll, & Cream blew our minds with Clapton's incendiary playing, Bruce's powerhouse vocals, & Baker's everything-all-at-once-drumming.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Undercover Surfer” This track blends all of the elements that make up The Chi-Tones. Latin percussive & melodic elements; surfy, overdriven guitar drenched in reverb; funky instrumentation from a toy piano to an electric sitar, glockenspiel, etc.; & an emphasis on fun.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Watching the mastering engineer (Ryan Smith) cut the lacquer for our full-length album is indelibly printed in our minds. It was the culmination of a lifetime of passion, creativity & hard work in one pure, tangible moment that we will never forget.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Sure is! We are just getting started! SALSIPUEDES is our first full-length release & we have a lot more music that we're already writing, arranging, & recording. We want to tour internationally & hit all the best surf spots & taco stands everywhere!
