Jamaican DJ and selector Yaadcore has been pivotal to the re-emergence of roots reggae, with his weekly Dubwise events ushering in a new breed of roots mixed with dancehall, dub, and hip-hop influences. In a natural progression, he would go into recording and producing himself, releasing a handful of singles before dropping his debut album, Reggaeland, in early 2022.
