In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was sitting with my grandfather in my grandparents living room, I was maybe 5 years old and I started banging on the piano keys. He told me such a beautiful instrument has to be played with care and it will produce the most beautiful sound.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Drake, Views JAY-Z, Kanye West, Watch the Throne (Deluxe) I fell in love with hip hop through these albums. They all sound like a whole aesthetic. They brought you into their world. They were soundscapes to my life at the time that I heard them and I related the most to the music.

Tell us why you chose this song. “41613” I would go back and forth between Ottawa and Toronto a lot a kid playing sports and I fell in love with the contrast between the two worlds. When I got older the feeling just intensified, it felt like going out there was part of me I kept to myself.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having my song played at a Toronto Raptors game was surreal. The way it sounded in the stadium was insane and it made me realize my music could reach way further than I thought.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to have a classic album that is loved by my own fans as well as people who respect and love music. Not just hip hop or rnb but I want to make undeniably good music that makes me some money.
