A prodigious EDM DJ/producer turned singer-songwriter, Zaeden has repeatedly proven his gift for sounds that resonate with mass audiences.
• Zaeden was born Sahil Sharma in 1995. He began DJing at 14 and pursued studies in sound engineering.
• As a teenager, a Coldplay remix he originally made for his sister was included in EDM DJ Hardwell’s influential radio show, opening new doors for him.
• In 2016, Zaeden released “Yesterday”, a joint track with Borgeous. He then joined the DJ onstage in front of thousands at US music festival Tomorrowland.
• Other major releases include 2016’s “Never Let You Go” (2016) with DJs Nina & Malika, 2017’s “Tere Jaane Se” with singer Ankit Tiwari and an official remix of Maroon 5 and Kendrick Lamar’s 2017 single “Don’t Wanna Know”.
• In 2019, the catchy, acoustic guitar-laced single “Tere Bina” (2019) marked Zaeden’s heartfelt shift into singer-songwriter territory.
• His 2021 debut album, Genesis 1:1, melds tender vocals with airy pop melodies and electronic touches as he addresses resonant themes like the global pandemic.
