After a brief contestant appearance on American Idol, her first two EPs set her humorous musical approach in motion: 2019’s You’re A Dog! sparked major-label attention, while 2020’s I’m Allergic To Dogs! solidified her penchant for skippy melodies and woozy production. Wolf’s 2021 debut album, Juno, looked inward but didn’t let up its rhythmic stride—on “Liquor Store,” she sings about her recent sobriety with a brazen confidence befitting her independent musicality.
