Singing since her childhood, Brisia Jodie honed her craft by sharing covers online which led to a stint on Indonesian Idol. Since then, a string of mesmerising releases such as the lovelorn, piano-led “Seandainya”, breathy guitar serenade “Kisahku” and the balmy, carefree “Rekah” established her as a talent to watch. Jodie has also teamed up with singer Arsy Widianto in a series of pop duets. Among their yearning ballads is a playful departure in 2019’s “Sejauh Dua Benua”—a synth-laced, finger-snapping bop that imbues a tale of two lovers living continents apart with a light jazz feel.
