This Japanese band from Kyoto—who started life in 2010—imbue their songs with a frantic and rambunctious edge. It means their music is loud and punky and comprises quirky (and usually quite complex) time signatures, yet is also catchy, rhythmic and arresting. Their deliberately off-kilter and almost-but-not-quite-harmonised vocals add an extra layer of rowdy disorder to the equation, but make no mistake: this is a band in full control of every single sound they make.
