A member of classic rock-tinged outfit Superfly, Koichi Tabo left the group in 2007 to focus on creating high-energy songs for a wide variety of other acts. He has since hooked back up with his former outfit, but continues to pen numbers for pop stars and boy bands. Tabo excels at many types of tunes, but he's at his best when creating energetic rock that boasts a huge hook.
