Sunlight creeping up my bedroom wall,

Sleep is now a dream that I cannot recall.

Deep inside the dungeons of my mind I

wait, Pondering the possibility of an escape.

The night time fades like the shine on a blade,

Rub my eyes and rise and splash some water on face.

But I am not awake, A lion in a cage,

A siren in the silence like a fire on the train.

Far far from the fields we come.

Burn it up and build a tower, To the sun to watch the hours to dust

Just to say that we won.

Picture this icarus mechanism, In full effect.

Into the furnace I am driven, No turning back.

The sky above and all the rivers, Are turning black.

And certainly these burning leaves, Will soon be ash.

One mans trash is another mans trash,

Spent his whole life tryna run up that stash.
