He said I forgot to order your flower yesterday

So I drew you this rose all in red just the same

This one might have taken me a little bit more time

But it was worth every minute if it can make you smile

He got me a pretty flower and it won't ever die

Its petals are still as red as wine

And it's better than any flower he could ever buy

It'll hang on my wall until the end of time
