Hello Florence, How Are You?

I'm such a lucky girl

I'm travelling the world

And working hard means singing loud and staying up late

Wake up at ten to three

Drink fourteen cups of tea

Vapidly smiling at the air with the occasional thought

What else could I wish for?

And I don't even feel alone

'Cause then my friends call my telephone

Let's go for coffee down the road

"Hello Florence, how are you?"

They ask me every time

I always say I've never been so happy in my life

Then drink up quickly and say, "I'm busy

I really must leave, but let's keep in touch please"

But I don't call 'cause some things are just too hard to talk about

And every day and night

I keep myself occupied

So I don't have to hear my head for all of our sakes
