She said "Finally, everything's complete"

She could be at peace and not a thing was wrong

I thought that she was being over dramatic

Up late at night alone, she would be in pain

She had a mammogram but a mass didn't show

Not even month went by and she right back in the hospital

And they still didn't know the real reason she was ill

The whole family kept it from me 'cause they knew that we were close

Wanted to protect me from myself, at the end of the day they didn't want me to know

In retrospect it's like she never did expect to live
