Said I was hurt, will you believe?

I noticed that all the pain was in my feet

So many bricks, somewhere to belong

I stand on your wall now suppressing my relief

Into the wild, you're all in my face 

Guess that you still mind when somebody takes your place

But will you not admit that my way up is your way down?

There's blood in my mouth from sleeping on the ground

In a house on a hill, my head isn't straight

You're taller than I am, one hundred times or more 

You let me eat from your broken plates

Disgraced like an old man burning at the stake

Now that we speak, I feel so exposed

Thought I only told you things that everybody knows
