The good Lord must've heard me say it even if I wasn’t praying

 Just give me strength to make my bed alone

Teach me how to love myself so I can love somebody else

And walk in the light the light I’ve never known.

Where there used to be just night

The good lord has a funny way of calming those who are afraid

I asked for strength and found a reason to be strong

I’d given up on romance but he believes in second chances
