In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing as part of a choir in a huge cathedral a few days before Christmas. I remember feeling so moved by the harmonies and resonance that I almost broke down crying mid-show. I also remember tripping and nearly face planting when walking off-stage.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? George Ezra, Wanted On Voyage (Deluxe) Glass Animals, How to Be a Human Being Lykke Li, Wounded Rhymes I grew up listening to Glass Animals and George Ezra, their lyricism is a constant inspiration for me. I started listening to Lykke Li somewhat more recently, though she's been just as influential.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “aka's white wolf” I wrote aka's white wolf about a game I played as a kid that retold the story of Little Red Riding Hood. The game sadly no longer exists. I wanted to capture that nostalgia, which is why it's intensely emotional for me to both sing and listen to.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first headline shows in Europe. Having fans sing my music with me is the most surreal thing I'll ever experience, I'm unbelievably grateful for their love and support.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'll be turning 18 soon, so maybe time for my first arena show. In all seriousness, though, I'm young, so I've got a lot I'd love to do. I'm apprehensively excited for what the future will bring.
