In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was little, my dad played the guitar and sang the songs he composed for my mom. Even then, being only a few years old, I knew that music will be one of the most important aspects of my life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Christina Pluhar, L'Arpeggiata, Music for a While - Improvisations on Purcell Dario Marianelli, Anna Karenina (Original Music from the Motion Picture) Secret Garden, Songs From a Secret Garden Of course, it's hard to choose just three, I listen to a lot of songs of different genres. These three albums are my inspiration (some from the youngest years) and I look at them with sentiment.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Shape of My Heart” I have a great sentiment for Sting's song, and this performance is a kind of fusion, sung in a more "classic", baroque way, together with archlute and double bass, which seems to me a unique combination.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I am lucky, because I've had a lot of wonderful moments - I hope I will have more :) Certainly one of them was to perform together with Christina Pluhar and L'Arpeggiata. I felt like a fish in water surrounded by fantastic musicians and people.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely yes! I have new ideas all the time, constantly looking for connections between the world of classical and popular music. I would like to publish more of my original recordings here!
