Ha-Ash, the Mexican-American pop and country duo composed of sisters Hanna and Ashley Pérez, started out singing in church and at local music festivals.
∙ In 2002, while still in their teens, the sisters recorded a demo that landed them a deal with Sony Music Latin.
∙ “Estés Donde Estés,” their country-flavored second single, went to No. 1 in Mexico—their first of 14 chart-toppers there—and reached No. 9 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Songs chart in 2003.
∙ In 2006 and again in 2012, the duo won Pop Group of the Year at the Premios Oye! awards, Mexico’s equivalent of the Grammys.
∙ 2008’s Habitacion Doble featured a guest appearance by Grammy-winning alt-country singer Brandi Carlile on “Already Home,” the duo’s first official English-language recording.
∙ Primera Fila - Hecho Realidad, their 2014 acoustic-oriented live album, has sold more than 600,000 copies worldwide.
∙ Ha-Ash have had seven straight Top 10 albums in Mexico, including 2019’s chart-topping En Vivo.
