Texas heavy metal band HELLYEAH formed in 2006 when members of Mudvayne and Nothingface decided while on tour together to form a supergroup.
∙ HELLYEAH’s self-titled first album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart and at No. 3 on the Hard Rock chart.
∙ The group received three nominations in the 2014 Loudwire Music Awards, including Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Band.
∙ Their fourth LP, Blood for Blood, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart in 2014.
∙ After the 2018 death of drummer Vinnie Paul, the band went on hiatus, re-emerging in concert when Nevada’s Clark County proclaimed May 11, 2019, Vinnie Paul Day.
