Over Patsy Mae
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories was hearing Willie Nelson and realizing a simple song could carry a whole life inside it. That stayed with me and shaped how I write today. I’m still drawn to story-driven songs that quietly understand people.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Jim Croce, You Don't Mess Around With Jim
Randy Travis, Always & Forever
Wynonna, Tell Me Why
These albums remind me of my early life, the first strong connections I felt and those songs helped shape the kind of storytelling I’m drawn to as a writer

“When I was Me and You were You”
When I Was Me and You Were You” reflects the quiet search for identity and connection that runs through much of my writing. It came from a place of reflection about memory, change, and the feeling of trying to find where you belong again.
