Los Angeles group Wand started off playing wickedly spooky brand of psychedelic garage rock with metallic undertones, but as the band's leader Cory Hanson loosened the reins, they shifted to a more classic rock and modern pop-influenced approach. This change was reflected on albums like 2017's Plum and 2019's Laughing Matter, and their expansive and experimental live show was captured on the 2022 double-live album Spiders in the Rain.
