Taking its name from Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia, the worship group Hillsong UNITED has earned a devoted global following among the faithful. Coming together in 1998, the prolific group works with a rotating lineup of songwriters and musicians under the direction of pastor Joel Houston. Hillsong United perform extensively on the international circuit of Hillsong churches and have released multiple hit albums, but they're about more than just uplifting songs of devotion.
