Since 2009, Eastern Sidekick have unleashed stripped-down, miniature rock epics on Seoul's K-indie scene. Their repertoire spans the range of modern rock expression, including the gritty alt-rock fire of "Monochrome Cartoon City", and the jangling power pop of "Alone in the Kitchen". Led by singer Juhwan Oh's disaffected, wryly charming vocals, the quintet incorporates rhythmic guitar lines, propulsive bass and catchy melodic grooves.
