Ohashi Yoshinori knows how to weave a tune. The China-born artist, who performs under the name Ohashi Trio, uses a wide variety of instruments to create sweet celebrations of life and love. He relies primarily on guitar and piano, but harmonica and traditional shamisen lend a rural touch to his easy-going songs. Yoshinori is equally capable of soaring ballads and bouncy pop songs that feature children's backing vocals. Existing on the same plane as Kings of Convenience, Ohashi Trio's music celebrates the simple things in life.
