Coming from an artistic family and getting involved with hip-hop as a teenager, Typhoon (Glenn de Randamie) was able to develop his own sound and attitude. He made his mark with smoked-out dub and a sophisticated use of jazzy horns and basslines, coupled with deep and reflective lyrics. Typhoon brings a lot to any table—and he's invited to many. Early collaborations with the pioneering Opgezwolle crew led to work with Dutch jazz groundbreakers New Cool Collective and a place in the Fakkelbrigade rap collective—prolific doesn't begin to describe it.
