Formed in 1995 in Massachusetts, Shadows Fall really came into their own when Brian Fair joined the band for their second album, Of One Blood. His rasping growl perfectly complemented their highly technical death metal assault, making for a devastating combination of all-out aggression. His mass of dreadlocks have also become one of the band's trademarks as he whips them back and forth during live shows.
