The L.A.-based artist has been an in-demand songwriter since penning Danity Kane’s 2008 dance-pop hit “Damaged.” She’s also worked closely with alt-R&B visionaries like Syd (on steamy bedroom jams like “Body”) and MALIA (on slinky come-ons like “Naked”), and showed off her own powerful set of pipes on the poignant piano ballad “By Your Side.”
