Maher Zain got his first keyboard at the age of 10, and music has been an integral part of his life ever since. Indeed, an early passion soon landed the Swedish singer in the thick of New York's bustling music scene where he would work with Kat DeLuna on her hit debut album. But Zain wanted more, and that dream materialised with the release of his own debut studio effort Thank You Allah in 2009. The album was a huge success in the Islamic market, with songs like "Insha Allah" and "Baraka Allahu Lakuma” since becoming his signature.
