Red Velvet’s WENDY returns with her second mini album, a playful pop EP that sees the Korean star branching out beyond her signature solo ballads. Almost a decade after Red Velvet’s debut, the girl group’s main vocalist enters her self-described “villain era” with the kiss-off title track “Wish You Hell,” in which she declares: “Forget that good girl/I tried and at first it wasn't bad/But now I'm done.” Elsewhere on the six-track album, English-language ballad “His Car Isn’t Yours” as well as “Best Ever,” “Better Judgement,” “Queen of the Party,” and “Vermilion” allow WENDY to show off her vocal prowess as one of K-pop’s strongest singers.
