In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being really young, maybe 4 or 5 years old, my mom used to play music in the living room during the evenings to unwind. She used to play Backstreet Boys "I Want It That Way" because I used to dance along to it and mumble the words.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hopsin, No Shame Ollie, Even When I'm Happy I Listen To Sad Music Ollie, Maybe This Was Supposed to Happen These are the albums that really shaped how I interpret music, and what I felt was important to share. These albums are extremely raw, and very vulnerable. I try to channel this vibe into my own music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Late Night Drive” This song was the first song I made that I felt comfortable sharing. It was about a break-up, or a falling out really... that took a pretty serious toll on me. It took a couple years of self-reflection to get to a point where I felt okay to move on.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing 'Late Night Drive' was definitely my most memorable moment. For me to be able to release a song that was so vulnerable, and have people I don't even know tell me how much it resonates with them? That is a really memorable feeling for me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm only just getting started. I really want to make a difference in peoples lives. The same way artists before me have gotten me through really rough patches. I want to be there for people that don't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
