Biografia wykonawcy
A key component of the 1960s blues revival, guitarist Mike Bloomfield put a rock-friendly spin on T-Bone Walker's biting style, first gaining fame with Chicago's legendary Paul Butterfield Blues Band. In 1965 he backed Dylan at the latter's epochal Newport Folk Festival electric-band debut and contributed crucial sonic elements to Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited. Bloomfield took part in numerous all-star projects, with “supergroup” Electric Flag, Al Kooper, and numerous others. In 1981 the brilliant guitarist's erratic solo career came to an abrupt end when he was found dead of a suspected drug overdose.
