Founded in 2002 in Volendam, Netherlands, 3JS are comprised of Jan Dulles (vocals), Jaap Kwakman (guitar), and Jaap de Witte (guitar). The trio made its recording debut in 2007 with the Top 30 hit single "Kom." The debut album Watermensen followed shortly thereafter, peaking at number six on the Dutch albums chart and staying on the charts for 83 weeks. The album spawned the follow-up singles "Net Alsof," "Één Met de Bomen," "Watermensen," and "Wiegelied," all except one of which were Top Ten hits. Second album Kamers Van M'n Hart (2008) was even more successful, reaching the Top Five of the albums chart and including the singles "Hou Van Mij" (a Top Five hit), "Kamers Van M'n Hart," and "Bevlogen Als Vogels." ~ Jason Birchmeier
