London-based rap duo AJ & Deno became viral sensations at a young age due to their unique blend of rap and R&B; as a creative team, AJ lends his rap-style verses to Deno's R&B choruses. Deno first rose to prominence after a video of him covering Geko's "Over and Under" went viral in 2016; the video was noticed by Stormzy, who reposted the track and even asked Deno to appear on his debut full-length, Gang Signs & Prayer. Soon after, Deno met AJ during a video-content networking session, where they bonded over music. Within a few months, with only a handful of tracks, the duo signed to Sony subsidiary Columbia Records. 2017 saw their first single for the label, "Ride or Die," followed by an even more successful single in 2018, "London." ~ Liam Martin
