Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I will never forget listening to Norah Jones while my father taught me to play chess as young boy. The emotion in her voice still brings up bottled emotions I'd prefer to leave inside.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 88GLAM, 88Glam Reloaded Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) JAY-Z, 4:44 Each project walked me through an entirely new world, changing my perception on sound and the power music. Through thick and thin I always had music and although there are too many earlier projects to list, these are the most influential to me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “TBT Freestyle” I love and hate this song to be honest. I was in a very emotional state and didn't write for the beat, but rather spoke to the mic. I wasn't going to release it as I felt it lacked lyrics, structure and was too vulnerable, but the feedback was warm
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There have been a few such as my first performance or the release of Keys To The City, but my most memorable would have to be recorded till the morning in Ari's bedroom. I'm happiest when making music, no other feeling can compare.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to perform my music in front of a large crowd that knows my lyrics. A show where the distance between artist and listener is severed and all that matters is having the most memorable night. That's is truly my dream.
