Arcadea is a synth-driven progressive metal trio formed by Mastodon's Brann Dailor and Zruda's Core Atoms, with keyboards provided by synth wizard Raheem Amlani (Withered). Blending guitarless heavy music with cosmic, electro-psych textures, they debuted in 2017 with a self-titled album. In 2025, joined by new keyboardist João Nogueira, the band released The Exodus of Gravity, a futuristic, funk-infused follow-up that expanded their sonic universe.
