Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a band, one of our earliest memories is fairly recent. We were playing at the NY East Village hardcore bar, Niagra. We were improvising and the then suddenly the beat for the song Dinner Plates appeared out of nowhere. That was magic.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bill Frisell, Bill Frisell With Dave Holland and Elvin Jones Latin Playboys, Latin Playboys The Smile, Wall of Eyes They're goal posts in the composition and performance of Automatic Candy. Latin Playboys fun lightness and obfuscation, The Smile's fresh grooves and Bill Frisell, Dave Holland and Elvin Jones' deep ability to be musically present while on fire.
