Like many 21st century Spanish pop singers, Chiara Oliver entered show business via the talent show route. She got her big break in 2023 when she was selected for Operación Triunfo, Spain's most popular talent show. Even though she failed to reach the finals, Oliver was promptly signed by Universal Music Spain and in July 2024 her debut EP, La Libreta Rosa, was sitting at the top of the Spanish charts. It was followed six months later by La Última Página, a set of six new songs inspired by the dance-pop sounds of the '80s.
