In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was sitting in a small performance hall playing a beginner piano piece in front of my family and an audience. I was around 11 and had just started learning music. At the time I thought nothing of it, but now I know it was the start of everything.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dua Lipa, Future Nostalgia Deluxe Ethel Cain, Preacher’s Daughter Norah Jones, Come Away With Me Each of these albums represent a different part of my musical journey. Ethel Cain's lyricism and sense of reflection is what I aspire to have. Norah has a way of making you feel so connected. Dua Lipa really influenced my pop-focused sound.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Take Me Home” It was one of the first songs I wrote for my first album. It set me off on my "reformed" musical journey to a more poppy, electronic, but also live sound. It's influenced by the band Hippo Campus who shaped my artistic voice early on.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm pretty much unknown. No one outside of my immediate friends and family knows about my music. I like it because it solidifies that I do this for me and not to achieve fame or anything like that, but it would be nice to have a bigger audience.
