In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started singing at three years old at family get-togethers. In 2nd grade, a few friends and I entered the talent show at our elementary school. From there, I fell in love with performing. By high school, I had put my first band together.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brooks & Dunn, Steers & Stripes Jason Aldean, My Kinda Party Lonestar, Lonely Grill Growing up, I listened to the Lonely Grill album all the time in my room. I also listened to it on my portable CD player on the bus to school. The Steers & Stripes album and My Kinda Party album both had phenomenal instrumentation and songwriting.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Back When You Were Mine” As we recorded this song, I felt that it had something very special about it. When I play it live, it always goes over great and the crowd connects well with it. It is just a fun, upbeat song that has been a turning point in my career.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to be the support act for Diamond Rio. Growing up, I always enjoyed their music and saw them as an inspiration.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to play Billy Bob's Texas and the Ryman Auditorium. These two venues are so legendary that to be able to stand where some of the greatest in the industry have performed would be amazing.
