In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My whole family is musical, I remember my Dad playing me records by Television and The Beatles, and also hearing him playing classical guitar through the ceiling. I remember being about 8 years old and curling up in his guitar cases
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Blood On the Tracks Chet Baker, Chet Baker Sings Tom Waits, The Heart of Saturday Night (Remastered) Stone cold classics, each one. Bob for revolution, Chet for love and Tom Waits for the big city.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Big Moon” I wrote this in Paris, looking out over the rooftops at the Sacré Coeur - the moon was huge and I started to see this scene unfold. I wrote all the lyrics in one go.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I just came back from playing drums with the Brian Jonestown Massacre on their 2023 tour, my five year opening stint in the Fat White Family was pretty memorable, but the most memorable moment as far as my own songs go is always the last gig.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to tour in America. And also further afield in Europe - I'd also like to do film soundtracks.
