Indian pop artist Dilpreet Dhillon (Amrinder Singh), grew up idolizing Punjabi pop star Kulwinder Dhillon and drove a truck to earn money for his first recording.
∙ Working with popular Punjabi production duo Desi Crew, he recorded his breakout hit—2014’s upbeat, Bhangra-style “Gunday No. 1.”
∙ His second hit, “32 Bore,” garnered more than 2.5 million views and established him as one of the most popular modern Punjabi singers.
∙ In 2016, Dhillon released his first album, 8 Kartoos, featuring the hits “Gulab” and “Thar Wala Yaar.”
∙ He made his acting debut with a starring role in the 2016 thriller Once Upon a Time in Amritsar, which also featured his song “End Jattiye.”
