In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Listening to INXS's Listen Like Thieves album with my older brother whilst playing Teenage Ninja Turtles on the NES. Maybe the instrumental track 'Three Sisters' subconciously shaped my musical preferences.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Metallica, ...And Justice for All
Nirvana, Bleach Deluxe Edition
The Smashing Pumpkins, Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness (2012 Remastered)
Spent my formative years wrapped in these albums. The crushing riffs of Bleach, the aggression of Justice and as the title suggests, the melancholy of Mellon Collie. What else does a teenager need?!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Sacrifice Us to the Sun”
I think this is the first time I captured a concept that was rattling around in my head, with no after thought on arrangements. It came together very quickly.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Just my first release 'White Lady'. I got back into making music in November 2023 after a 16 year hiatus. A lot has changed since then, most significantly the need for a band.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
After two months of relentless music production, I'd say I have everything left on my bucket list! Bigger audience, bigger productions, bigger everything.
