In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started out playing a cigar box with strings on it. I learned to play acoustic guitar when I was nine. Being left handed I learned to play a right handed guitar upside down and backwards.

Tell us why you chose this song. “When the Cowboys Are Gone” I write songs that tell a story that will paint a picture in your mind as I'm singing the song. "When The Cowboys Are Gone" speaks to the old west, cowboy singers on the old radio and the silver screen cowboys from the movies of long ago.
