Pianist George Xiaoyuan Fu has a strong commitment to music of the 20th century and to contemporary works. In addition to solo recitals and concerto-soloist appearances, he is the founder of the chamber ensemble Trio Zimbalist. Fu is also a composer. He has released several albums, including the 2025 recital Colouring Book, a recital of music by Debussy and various contemporary composers, including himself; he contributed a Passacaglia on a Theme by Radiohead.
