Formed by singing and guitar playing brothers Mike and Tom Gossin, Gloriana was completed with the addition of vocalist and Rachel Reinert and singer/mandolinist Cheyenne Kimball (previously a solo artist signed to Epic Records). The quartet quickly developed an energetic, four-part harmony-driven contemporary country style with shades of Fleetwood Mac and the Dixie Chicks. After signing with Nashville-based Emblem Records, the group found success with the fun, youth-themed single “Wild at Heart.” Subsequently, Gloriana released an EP and debut full-length album, and toured nationally, opening for Taylor Swift.
