In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My mom was always listening to the radio and singing around the house. Her taste in music was diverse I grew up listening to country music to classical because of her. That is why my style is eclectic, and I draw from different sources in my music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Erykah Badu, Baduizm
Jazmine Sullivan, Heaux Tales
Nicki Minaj, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded the Re-Up
These artist all had a major influence for us wanting to get into the music industry. Nicki Minaj's wordplay made me fall in love with rapping. Jazmin Sullivan and Erykah because their style of music one soulful and the other eclectic.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Turnin Me On”
This is our first single so we are passionate about it. We just want people to love our music as much as we do.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
The most memorable moment in my career so far has been actually hearing our song on the radio. I was out with my girlfriends at Downtown Locker Room, and they played our single. My friends started screaming like "girl you famous". It felt good!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We would love to do a record with Nicki, lil' baby, as well as do an R&B record with Chris Brown. I really love what they all are doing, and think we could cook up something real tasty together.
