In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember a 10yr old me in the 80's playing with a cassette tape recorder, capturing sounds and my voice. It was my first ever experience learning I could interact & manipulate sound, by way of executing my first overdub. It was a lightbulb moment!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, A Foot In the Door: The Best of Pink Floyd Shihad, The General Electric (Remastered) The Beach Boys, Smiley Smile (Mono & Stereo) Pink Floyd - entire catalogue. First band I fully immersed myself in as a teen. NZ's Shihad because the are a well oiled, solid rocking machine. I dig them very much! Brian Wilson - I appreciate his ability to mix many genres together!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was inpromptly asked to play a song while hanging with a large group of travellers sitting on a street corner, near midnight on a summer evening while backpacking in Byron Bay, Australia. I held it together for a rendition of my song Caravann.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I plan to get my live act together within the next 12 months. To perform my music live and go in mini tours in Australia appeals to me. I am a determined introvert. Lets see if I can't do this!
