In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We grew up in Windsor, ON across from Detroit, MI and basically did two things as teenagers--go to shows & play music together in basements. It was that community of friends and musicians that shaped my life musically and personally. Thankful!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fugazi, In On the Kill Taker Public Enemy, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back Swervedriver, Mezcal Head A couple of classics here that sum up a lot of my early musical inspiration and a new one that I'm listening to a lot these days...Not sure I can pick just 3 but here's a few to get the ball rolling. Highly recommend!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lost in Sarnia” This song was one of the 1st songs we finished together & probably best represents the point in our early writing days that I knew we were onto something with this band. It gave us a lot to build off of sonically so to me will always be a core song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? For me it's not so much about any particular milestone or moment, it's the relationships, friends and community that we have been lucky enough to forge thru music. We feel like we are just getting started and are excited for what's coming next.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Tons of stuff but our focus is to keep writing songs & always try to make the next one better then the last one. I think the craft of songwriting is a never ending quest & I couldn't be happier to be on it with this group of friends & collaborators.
