In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It's 1993. I'm in line at a record store to buy Nirvana tickets. My parents are divorced and I convinced my mom I was going to the city to see my dad. Instead saw Nirvana at Roseland! It was the show of a lifetime and I was only 14.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Midnite Vultures Cannibal Ox, The Cold Vein Sylvan Esso, Sylvan Esso These are 3 very different albums that share one distinct trait. I heard them at a time in my life when I needed them most.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ice Cream Man (feat. Mac Booker)” I produced this song while teaching music production at the Los Angeles Recording School. It was just an example of drums. But I listened back, polished it up, and reached out to vocalist/songwriter Mac Booker. The rest as they say, is history.
