Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Green braces and happy to be lugging around a saxophone in middle school, contantly practicing the theme from Pink Panther.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arcade Fire, Neon Bible Radiohead, Kid A The Zombies, The Zombies - The Original Studio Recordings, Vol. 2 Kid A was revolutionary for everyone who heard it. It went quickly went from unintelligible noise to the most incredibly crafted art as the ears got to hear more and more. The zombies are my favorite band of all time! Such a giant influence for us!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Xtract” Xtract has always been one of our hidden favorites. Themes of monotony, capitalism, and marriage which I suppose are common for us get played out in this upbeat cinematic song that just screams Autumn.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to tour with Dan Boeckner's band, THE OPERATORS, was one of the coolest experiences of our lives. We traveled all throughout the US and Canada and played to so many wonderful people. Dan was a hero of ours so getting that call was insane!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things! We'd love to score a film, play more festivals, tour overseas...we just wanna keep releasing music we're excited about & continue focusing on connecting with people. That's what it's all about. Music is to heal!
