What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joni Mitchell, Hejira Nina Simone, Little Girl Blue (Remastered) Sheryl Crow, Sheryl Crow Hejira for it’s intimate observations of humanity, Sherl Crow for its bad girl energy and Little Girl Blue for undoing me every time with strength, resilience and openness.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Christmas Day 2020. I was sent a message from an indie record label in Japan (Lirico Rec.) showing my face printed on a poster in a record store in Tokyo, with Our Friends up there next to Fiona Apple. So surreal. Best Christmas present ever.
